Well, I'm using the term "iPhone Monday" to refer to the general phenomenon of incredibly high anticipation over an imagined event or announcement, followed by complete silence by Apple because, after all, it was imagined, or made up, by the masses.

Apple's next Big Thing will have a day like today, and so will the next Big Thing, and the next.. If the rumor mill gets wind of a product, it seems a faux announcement date isn't far behind.

Pardon the skepticism..

I found it amusing how after the fact, everyone is like "Oh yea, Cisco has that trademark," but before, no one seemed to recognize or bring up that fairly important fact.

I doubt we'll have as many iPhone Mondays, unless they change the moniker. If the rumor sites can't even discern what it may be called, I doubt they'll have credible intel on when this mystery device might be released.
